Vissi D'arte!! I live for art!

As a teen and young adult, I was fortunate to have parents who sought out a bel canto (beautiful singing) teacher for me. He was a mentor and a highly qualified opera singer who had recognized my potential and helped me realize this by laying the foundational work of building my vocal muscles from the ground up via solid exercise and technique. Now, I have the pleasure of passing this on. I recognize the potential in each one of my students. In my eighteen years of directing and casting musicals, I learned from the opposite side of the audition table what singers need to achieve success. Many of my students have won coveted roles in high school and community theater, operas, bands, choirs and more.  Additionally, the foundational skills I believe in and learned so long ago help students to become increasingly independent as musicians and I believe excellence is a very good foundation for self esteem. I love what I do and it makes me happy to be able to share my passion with others. Throughout my career, my student results have been a testament to the fact that my system works and I leave a long list of success stories in my wake.
